Forum: movies Subject: How to replace file that is larger than 2GB?

I need to replace the video in an item I created. I was able to delete the old video file using the item edit tool. However, I'm not able to upload the replacement video because the video is about 8GB which exceeds the 2GB limit. How can I upload the replacement video?
The item is:
http://www.archive.org/details/Raw_food_2011_08_07_Dave_raw_food_trucker

I already tried checking out the item using the item manager (so I could upload the file via ftp). But the checkout button just brings up the item edit tool.

The 2GB limit is a Firefox issue. Try Chrome instead and you'll have a lot more flexibility.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried Safari and that worked. Flash uploader didn't work, but the javascript based one did.
